Congratulations to Brody Laackman, Emilie Porter, Hunter Porter and Rylee Rogers for receiving an Agricultural Bursary! We would like to recognize them for their hard work and dedication of study to the field of Agriculture, and their commitments to the community.
Agricultural Bursaries
Agricultural Services is providing up to five (5) bursaries of $500.00 each to students residing in the County who are attending University, Community College, or any other recognized post-secondary institution and enrolled in an agri-based program.

Applicants must:
- Be a resident of Parkland County;
- Provide a background essay outlining their rural experience, community involvement, volunteer and recreational activities. Indicate your goals and objectives as they relate to your field of study and agriculture;
- Provide proof of enrolment in a post-secondary institution.

RMA Scholarship
The Rural Municipalities Association (RMA), an organization representing Alberta's incorporated rural municipalities, offers a Scholarship Program in support of rural students attending a recognized post-secondary institution.
2023 RMA scholarship application deadline is August 31, 2023.
Please visit the RMA Scholarship Program page for full details on how to apply. Part of the requirement is to have written confirmation from the local rural municipality's Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) certifying that the applicant is a resident of the municipality.
