Have your say on policing in Alberta
The public can have its say on the future of policing in Alberta through an online survey.
This survey is part of the Alberta government’s review of the Police Act. The questionnaire covers several topics related to law enforcement, such as the role of police in community, processes for handling complaints from the public and officer discipline.
These discussions and the survey responses will guide changes to the Police Act expected for next fall.
Survey closes January 4, 2021.

Alberta Flood study engagements
Help improve public safety and build more resilient communities by having your say on flood maps!
This public review of 18 new flood maps covers more than 60 communities. The information collected will be used to help inform draft reports, flood maps and future emergency response.
What is the purpose of flood maps? Flood maps identify where water will flow during a flood, and what land could be flooded for different sized floods. Most flood maps focus on floods caused by high river flows but some also show areas at risk from ice jam floods.
Engagement closes January 15, 2021.
