A strategic action that emerged from the Stormwater Master Plan was to conduct local studies to address historical drainage challenges. Rolling Meadows Estate has had a history of flooding issues since it was developed in the 1970's. Therefore, Parkland County made the decision to perform a drainage study of the subdivision in order to conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and explore flood mitigation options.
