Slope stability issues have become an area of concern for Parkland County along the Pembina River passing through Entwistle and along First Avenue in the summer village of Seba Beach. As such, Parkland County has conducted a High Level Bank Stability Review Study in these areas to identify potential concerns and the ways to mitigate them.

Pembina River

Parkland County became concerned about the impact that the current and ongoing infrastructure would have on the banks of the Pembina River as it passes through Entwistle between Township Road 532 and Township Road 534. The Pembina River High Level Stability Review was completed and provides recommendations for addressed concerns. 

Seba Beach

Parkland County became concerned about the impact that the current and ongoing infrastructure development is having on the slopes just north of Lake Wabamun within the Summer Village of Seba Beach more precisely First Avenue from 1st Street to just north of Edmonton Road. The Seba Beach High Level Bank Stability Review was completed and provides recommendations for addressed concerns.
