Claim submission process

If you have damage that you claim to be the responsibility of the municipality, please follow the below steps to submit a claim:

  1.  Obtain a claim form and complete as directed, attaching all relevant information, repair quotes, and photos, if applicable. 
  2. Send in the claim form by fax, email or delivery to:
  3. Claim forms can also be obtained from the Customer Service desk at Parkland County Centre, by emailing claiminquiries@parklandcounty.com or by calling 780-968-3234. 
  4. Parkland County will then contact the applicable service department and conduct an investigation of the claim. 
  5. A response will be provided to you advising of next steps, if applicable. 
  6. You may also be contacted by a claims adjuster appointed by the County, depending on the nature and extent of your claim. 

Please note: Parkland County does not automatically accept liability for any damage until the circumstances have been investigated. Any determination of liability will be subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act of Alberta
