Candidates - Notice of Intent

Per the Local Authorities Election Act, candidates intending to run for the 2025 election for the position of Mayor, Councillor or School Board Trustee (Parkland School Division) must register their notice of intent with the Election Office before accepting campaign contribution or incurring campaign expenses.

To register, interested candidates may complete the Notice of Intent to Run form and submit it by email to elections@parklandcounty.com.  Alternatively you may email the Returning Officer with the required information.

Below is a current listing of candidates which have submitted to their Notice of Intent to Run to the Election Office. This list will be continuously updated.

Please note: Candidates that register their Notice of Intent to Run are not exempt from submitting their official nomination forms with required signatories and $100 fee which will be accepted beginning January 1, 2025 through to Nomination Day on September 22, 2025.
