Off-Highway Vehicle Bylaw No. 04-2011

Off-Highway Vehicle Bylaw Amendment 2014-13

▪ Definitions section: the only change was that the word “Park” has been replaced with “County Land”.  This change is contemplated across all the Bylaws being reviewed.

▪  Operations Restrictions:

• “Environmental Reserve” has been replaced with “Conservation Reserve”. This change is contemplated across all the Bylaws being reviewed.
  
  
• “Director of Emergency Management” has been changed to “General Manager of Corporate Services”
  
  
• The addition of an age restriction when driving an OHV- must be 16 years of age or older for driving an OHV ** Public Engagement Question
  
  

▪  Offences section:

• any reference to ‘Schedule “A” has been replaced with Fees and Charges Bylaw
  
  
• clauses relating to multiple contraventions have been deleted
  
  
• Peace Officers have the ability to use discretion in the application of this Bylaw when assessing a situation.
