This bylaw is not being formally reviewed by County Council, however the opportunity to consult on the topic is being used in tandem with the Bylaw review.
The objective is to seek input from members of the public about what else the County should consider as part of its review of the Parkland County Cat Bylaw and determine whether the bylaw should be expanded from just Parkland Village to encompass the entire county.
The bylaw speaks to the County's responsibility in collecting feral and stray cats.
The bylaw does not consider cat licensing, spaying, or neutering.
