PARKLAND COUNTY, AB. – Mayor Gamble has declared a State of Local Emergency for Parkland County on April 29 due to a wildfire near the hamlet of Entwistle.

Residents west of Range Road 65, north of Township Road 530 to Township Road 534, including all residents of Entwistle, are ordered to evacuate immediately.

A full fire ban continues to be in effect in Parkland County.
