On October 20, 2021, the Development Authority for Parkland County issued a Stop Order on the above noted lands pursuant to Section 645 of the Municipal Government Act.
Correspondence was received appealing the issuance of the Stop Order, and in accordance with Section 686(2) of the Municipal Government Act, an appeal hearing must be opened within 30 days of receipt of the appeal.
On December 15, 2021, the Board met to open the hearing, and adjourn it to a date in 2022. The Board opened the hearing and considered scheduling requests from the Development Authority and the Stop Order recipient. The Board adjourned the appeal hearing to March 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
Written submissions for inclusion in the agenda package for this appeal must be received by the undersigned on or before Tuesday, March 15, 2022. This will allow time for all parties to review all information before the hearing.
