We are launching a new tourism-focused website in early 2024, which will include a detailed business directory to help everyone easily find you when they visit our County.

Mink Lake Road Project Update

Mink Lake Road received a significant face lift this summer, including a wider driving surface, wider shoulders added, hills flattened, and other features added, such as improvements to the access at Star Lake. 

Remaining activities include final placement of the power poles, landscaping, and placement of a second lift of asphalt on the roadway, intersections, and approaches during summer 2024.

Last night, Mayor Allan Gamble was joined by Spruce Grove Mayor Jeff Acker and Stony Plain Mayor William Choy to support MADD Canada’s Project Red Ribbon campaign. Project Red Ribbon is an annual awareness campaign to promote sober driving during the busy holiday season.

Today the Circle of Hope, a symbol of the annual Light Up Your Life Campaign, was lit by Council alongside Light Up Your Life directors Sharon Cornelius, Joyce Pocha and Linda McCreath. Each light on the Circle of Hope glows in memory of a loved one.
