Fire Services warns residents that a fire restriction or ban may be coming if conditions do not improve. Open fires are allowed with permits, but residents are reminded to be extra vigilant. Soaking the area adjacent to fire pits with water is recommended. Fire permits may be restricted.

Virtual Open House: MDP Minor Amendments

The Municipal Development Plan (MDP) Bylaw 2024-22 is a high-level plan that creates a clear, adaptable, competitive, and streamlined approach for future development and growth in the County. The MDP is a living document and will be routinely updated through its 30-year lifecycle.

Two minor housekeeping amendments are being proposed to make sure the definitions in the MDP better align with the intent of the MDP’s policies. A virtual public open house is being held to gather feedback.

Get ready for another summer of fun at the Entwistle Outdoor Pool

Located within the Entwistle Community Recreation Centre, this outdoor pool is typically open from the May long weekend through to the September long weekend. It features a four-lane swimming area, beach area with spray toys, diving board and water slide.

The pool offers public swim, aquafit, private lessons and swim classes. Pool rentals are also available for events such as birthday parties.
