Fire Ban in Effect in Parkland County

Due to ongoing dry conditions and high temperatures, Parkland County has elevated the Fire Hazard Level to a Fire Ban. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we work together to protect our community.

Parkland County receives nearly $30 million from federal government for economic development

WABAMUN, AB —On Wednesday, Parkland County welcomed an announcement that the Government of Canada will provide $29.9 million to support key infrastructure projects within the County to assist our economy’s transition away from coal-fired power and towards other economic pathways.
