Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan
Parkland County has retained Stantec Consulting to review the County's waste management plan and identify economical and practical solutions for waste management in the County, including landfills, transfer stations, waste energy facilities, recycling and composting. The result will be the Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan that will aid us in establishing an environmentally-conscious strategy for dealing with waste now and into the future. The Plan is expected to be done by December 2008.
