Special Waste & Appliances

Many of the special waste products listed below are harmful to both the environment and human health. Parkland County Solid Waste Services provides the facilities that will allow you to dispose of these products in a safe and responsible manner.

Parkland County residents with a Solid Waste Disposal Access Card can dispose of the following items at no charge to the transfer stations indicated.

Appliances, including refrigerated appliances such as fridges, freezers, water coolers and air conditioners. Note: a Health and Safety Fee of $75 will be applied to fridge and freezer units containing food or waste dropped off at Transfer station sites.
