Community Services
Parkland County has a proud history of community involvement. From its 28 Community Associations, six playschools, various non-for-profit sport and recreation organizations, to its committed volunteer base, Parkland County has great community spirit.
Parkland County’s Community Services department offers development services, by request, to these organizations and may include any or all of the following:

Volunteer of the Year
In celebration of Volunteer Week, Parkland County Honors its many community association volunteers at an annual dinner. Each year every community association is ask to nominate an outstanding volunteer from their community to receive the Volunteer of the Year award.
