Must See
Nature lovers love Parkland County! One of the reasons is Clifford E. Lee Nature Sanctuary, with 348 acres of marshland, open meadow, aspen parkland, pine forest, over 100 bird species and excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.
And, with 190 acres to explore, the University of Alberta Devonian Botanic Garden is an absolute must-see. A butterfly house, ample displays of annuals and perennials, the beautiful Kurimoto Japanese Garden, herb gardens, a Native Peoples' garden, extensive alpine garden, sensory and healing garden, Gift Shop and Crafter’s Workshop. And of course, you must munch here! The Care-It Urban Deli-in-the-Garden is another place you will love!
And if you want to get lost in the originally designed maze, we suggest a game of hide and seek while you wind your way through The Edmonton Corn Maze!
