When are Governance & Priorities Committee meetings held?
Governance & Priorities Committee meetings are normally scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays of each month, commencing at 9:00 a.m., and are held in the Council Chambers at Parkland County Centre, unless otherwise posted. All Council members attend Governance & Priorities Committee meetings. Governance & Priorities Committee meetings are open to the public. 

When is the agenda ready?
The agenda is a document that lists the items to be discussed at the meeting. Agendas are prepared five days prior to the meeting date and are usually posted to the website by the Friday before the meeting. The agenda must be adopted (by the Committee) at the beginning of the meeting, after which no additions or changes may be made to the agenda without the Committee's permission. A complete copy of the agenda with submissions (attachments) is provided for viewing in the Council Chambers during the meeting.

Can I speak at a Governance & Priorities Committee meeting?
Formal appointments and presentations at General Committee meetings may be arranged by contacting the Secretary to the General Managers at (780) 968-8888 ext. 8215.

When can I see the minutes of the meeting?
Minutes are not official (adopted) until they are approved at the following meeting, after which they will be posted in their approved format. Links to minutes for the current year are provided, with a link to archived minutes from previous years.
