Anyone reviewing the unadopted agenda should do so on the understanding that it is subject to change by Council.

When are Council meetings held?
Council meetings are normally scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, commencing at 9:00 a.m., and are held in Council Chambers at Parkland County Centre, unless otherwise posted. All Council meetings are open to the public.

What is the agenda and when is it available?
The agenda is a document that lists the items to be discussed at the meeting. The meeting agenda is prepared five days prior to the meeting date and is usually posted to the website by the Friday before the meeting. The agenda must be adopted (by Council) at the beginning of the meeting, after which no additions or changes may be made to the agenda without Council's permission. A complete copy of the agenda with submissions (attachments) is provided for viewing in Council Chambers during the meeting, and is also posted to our website under County Council, Council Meetings.

May I speak at a Council meeting?
Formal appointments at Council meetings may be arranged by contacting Legislative and Administrative Services at 780-968-8405.

An informal Public Input session is a standing item on each meeting agenda, and no notice is required. Council allows the public to speak at Council meetings during this part of the meeting which is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. Ten minutes is allocated for people to state their views, concerns or suggestions. It is not a Q&A or debate session. If a lengthy presentation is desired, an appointment should be requested by contacting Legislative & Administrative Services at 780-968-8405. If you wish to submit documentation at the meeting, please provide a minimum of ten copies.

What are the minutes and when are they available?
Minutes are the official record of a meeting. They are a written record of attendance, order, and decisions made at the meeting. Minutes are not official (adopted) until Council approves them at the following meeting, after which they will be posted in their approved format. Links to minutes for the current year are provided on our website, with a link to archived minutes from previous years.
