River Valley Alliance
The River Valley Alliance is an unincorporated company which may make recommendations to Parkland County, and any other deemed appropriate stakeholder organizations, on priorities and funding of projects contained within their approved Master Plan. The vision of the River Valley Alliance is to protect, preserve, and enhance the Capital Region’s river valley for year round accessibility and enjoyment of its citizens and visitors.

Membership:
- 8 nominees from City of Edmonton (6 citizens-at-large, Mayor, 1 Council member)
- and 3 nominees from each of the following:
- Town of Devon
- Leduc County
- Parkland County (one Council member* and two public committee members)
- Strathcona County
- Sturgeon County
- City of Fort Saskatchewan.
*Council member and an alternate member are appointed at the annual organizational meeting (held in October) for the following calendar year.
