Municipal Library Board

The Municipal Library Board serves to manage, regulate, and ensure access to and funding for municipal library services provided by the other area municipal libraries and/or outlets within Parkland County which will benefit all Parkland County residents.

Membership:

  • 1 Council member*
  • 4 Parkland County residents

*Council member is appointed at annual organizational meeting (held in October) for the following calendar year.

Meetings:

Monthly.

Chairmanship:

Chairman is appointed by board members at first meeting following annual organizational meeting of Council.

Term of Office:

Public members are appointed on staggered two-year terms, up to a maximum of six consecutive years of service, commencing in January.
