Road Gravelling
The County has a three year gravelling program in place. The intent of the program is to gravel approximately one third of the gravel road network each year. The majority of the road gravelling is completed during the months of January, February and March. Some minor gravelling occurs during the summer months to cover areas that could not be accessed during the winter or to cover areas that deteriorate during the spring thaw and wet periods. Gravelling of approaches also occurs during the summer period.
