Approach Applications

If you are interested in building a new approach for your property first look at Municipal Policy EN 010 - Property Access Approaches (pdf). If you meet the requirements outlined in Municipal Policy EN 010, you can  download the Application for Approach Construction Form (pdf) and submit it to the address below. 

Municipal Policy EN 010 - Property Access Approaches (pdf) includes information regarding:

  • Eligibility for constructing new approaches to agricultural, residential and other lands.
  • General criteria for all access requests.
  • Asphalt apron requirements.
  • Procedures for making application for building of a new approach.
  • Enforcement of Policy, approaches that are in contravention to this Policy may be removed by Parkland County.

The application fees are outlined in the Parkland County Fees and Charges Schedule.
