My Best Friend
County Residents are very proud of their pets! Each month we would love to show off your pets - just submit us a photo and short biography (approximately 50 - 100 words) and we will post it to our "Best Friends" for everyone to meet and enjoy!
We would like you to meet our first best friend submitted by Vanessa Kenyon:
KODAKoda is a six month old Golden Retriever who came to live with us in August following the loss of our first Golden Kelty on July 3. Having to let go of Kelty was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. After a little time had passed and we said our final goodbyes to Kelty by burying her ashes with a beautiful Silver Maple in our yard, something was missing. It started to feel right again to get another dog. We knew we wanted another Golden. After a little bit of searching, we found Koda - we knew she was meant to be our dog.
Koda is a very calm good natured dog who loves to play with other dogs, retrieve, chew teddy bears and walk our daughter to the bus every morning. She will be a bird hunter and has already been in the goose blind! Koda is a great puppy!! Our family loves her very much!
