Parkland County Animal Control is dedicated to reuniting pets to their owners.  In the event that the owner is not found, every attempt is made to place the pet within a suitable home.

Reporting a Lost or Found Pet

If you have lost a pet, please visit PetLynx to create a lost report, posters and to search other reports.  PetLynx is a system/website dedicated to reuniting pets with their owners and giving support and options for pet owners while looking for their pet.

If you have found a pet, and it is outside of our Animal Control office hours, a found report can also be created on PetLynx.  This will help ensure that information is available as quickly as possible in reuniting pets with their owners.

Parkland County Animal Control Services is dedicated to finding suitable homes for every adoptable pet within its facility.  When looking for a new pet, we strongly encourage researching and finding the pet most suitable to you and your lifestyle.  Tips and information on selecting the right pet for you can be found in the Animal Control Services Adoption Package.
