Assessment Services
Assessment Services provides Parkland County with the services described below.
- Classification and assessment of residential, commercial, farm and industrial properties including buildings structures, machinery and equipment for taxation purposes.
- Preparation of annual general assessments.
- Conducts valuations and internal appraisals, and review appraisals for County properties.
- Responds to ratepayer questions by explaining property assessments.
- Maintains current property file for market analysis and identification.
- Loads Assessment data into ASSET for assessment equalization purposes.
- All assessments are governed by provincial legislation and are subject to annual audits by Alberta Municipal Affairs.
