Advisory Committee

          AGRICULTURAL AND RURAL LIFE ADVISORY COMMITTEE     

The member's main function is to act as a liaison between county/staff and residents on issues that relate to Agriculture.  A standard agenda item is "Local Area Concerns".  This is so members bring forth any concerns not addressed in the agenda.  All recommendations made at the Advisory Committee level go forward to the Agricultural Service Board Committee (ASB) for approval.  The Chair of the Advisory Committee attends the ASB Committee meetings to speak on those recommendations.  In some instances items are sent from the ASB Committee to the Advisory for discussion and input.
