Solid Waste Management
Parkland County operates several self haul waste management facilities throughout the County.
The Parkland County Waste Transfer and Recycling Centre was recently upgraded and reopened October 2006. The upgraded facility features two vehicle scales, recycling, an eco-station, enclosed tipping area and paved surfaces.
Solid Waste Transfer Stations

Parkland County Waste Transfer and Recycling Centre, located on RR 11 south of Highway 16A. The Site is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00am - 4:45pm. On Thursday's from the months of May to August the site is opened until 7:45pm.
- Kapasiwin Transfer Station, located on RR 35 North of Highway 16.

Effective March 1st, 2008
No Commercial or Large loads (over 1 ton) will be accepted
at Seba Beach or Keephills Landfills.
