For those who love the outdoors, Parkland
County boats a variety of phenomenal natural
areas including:

Clifford E. Lee Nature Sanctuary

Bird watching is a fast growing recreational activity and, at the Clifford E. Lee Nature Sanctuary, vistors will see dozens of different types of birds in their natural environment.

Elevated walkways and lookouts enable those walking through to enjoy a peaceful hike with a tremendous view.

Location: West of Highway 60 on Woodbend Road.

Wagner Natural Area

Located on the west side of Parkland County, the Wagner Natural area covers a half section of land and contains a variety of rare plants and many species of birds. An interpretive, self-guided trail winds through the area allowing visitors to take a peaceful walk and experience all the natural wealth contained therein.
