Awards of Excellence

Deadline for applications has been extended to Wednesday, January 31, 2007.

Parkland County is proud of it Awards of Excellence program. This long running program recognizes County residents who have achieved excellence in the fields of Arts & Culture, Agriculture and Athletics. The 100-Year Agricultural Award was added to this program in 2000 to honor families who have farmed the same parcel of land for 100 years or longer.

Each spring Parkland County hosts a banquet to recognize recipients of these awards. Due to the popularity of this program, the Awards of Excellence banquet was necessary. Our policy entitles County residents only and their coaches/instructors be invited to attend the banquet. While an entire team may qualify for an Award of Excellence, non-County residents will be receiving their awards through their coaches/instructors sometime after the banquet.

Please click on the links above for nominations forms and criteria for these awards. If you have any further questions about the Awards of Excellence program, please contact Diane Bozek at 968-8888 ext. 8215 or e-mail: dbozek@parklandcounty.com.
