Transportation, Distribution and Logistics Study
In 2011, Parkland County contracted a consulting company to conduct a study on the transportation/ distribution/ logistics sector. The goal of the study was to determine Parkland County’s competitive advantage for attracting businesses from this sector.
You can preview the study here: Transportation, Distribution & Logistics Study
Because of the information sensitivity, the list of potential T/D/L companies to attract was omitted from this document.
Currently, the Economic Development team is working on developing and implementing a strategy with the goal of attracting several large T/D/L companies to the Acheson Industrial Area.
